Saying "Yes" to happiness is all about learning to say "No" to the things and people that stress you out.

 

To truly "live more, you first have to understand that "THE THINGS THAT MATTER ARE NOT THINGS."

You need to really evaluate your things. I mean all of your things. That bread-maker you used once, those boots you love but don't actually wear, that tea set your grandmother gave you but you never use.

To some people that's scary but trust me, once you start simplifying your life you will create time and space to "live more" and worry less as you discover what and who really matters to you.

I’m taking on a DECHOX this March. That means I'm challenging myself to give up chocolate for 31 days. So cocoa is a no-no, which means chocolate bars, chocolate biscuits, chocolate ice cream and chocolate cake are all off the menu during March.

"Why?!"I hear you cry.

Well because The British Heart Foundation are challenging the nation to give up chocolate for March (again) to raise money for their life saving research.

In March 2017 more than 16,000 people took on the challenge to detox from chocolate and raise over £1 million for life saving research.

February is National Library Lover’s Month (in the US) so I've set myself a challenge to read a chapter of a book every day. It's been great escaping to another country in another time period and having some unadulterated me time.

I'm 2 weeks in and I have managed to read at least a chapter of The Miniaturist every day.

I'm taking time out from reading tonight to sing the praises of reading! You may not have realised but reading has a significant number of benefits here are a few:
